Welcome, members of the Best Life Community.
My best hope is that this space will serve as a more functional and more easily accessible space for community members to connect.
Please introduce yourself and your dog, and share if you're looking for human friends who can relate to the stress of a behavior journey, or canine playmates or training partners.
We are so happy to have you here.

Hi all. I'm not sure where I fit in here but I want to say hello. I found Gabrielle on Tik Tok and can't possibly find the words to emphasize how wonderful she seems so far. I've been struggling to find some behavioral balance with my dear Andy who was found tied to a bench back in September of 2023. After months of barricades and frequent separation I am proud to say he has come a long way and is smitten with my young shih tzu and two cats. Outdoor adventures, socialization, and external noises entering our home have been difficult to acclimate to. I am hopeful and determined to help Andy find his own sense of security and self worth, even if we are not meant to be his forever family.
Hello, I am Christine. I have a long term. Foster dog from Lab Rescue.
Laddy is fearful of strangers. He does well with treat / retreat. We live in chesterfield and are always looking for opportunities for side by side dog walks.
Sorry I’m so late to this party. I’m chris ( he/him) . My partner roger and I are the humans for Zayne who is a Formosan mountain dog ( basically street dog from Taiwan) . We’ve been working with Gabrielle for several months and have had Awesome progress. We are working with them this coming Saturday the 14th at 10 and would be open to hanging out after if anyone will be at Bryan. Zayne is generally good with humans who have a dog. So he’s great with side by side dog walks.
Hi friends! I’m Allison (she/her) and mom to Amos! Amos is a rescue pup that was either 100% feral or from a hoarding situation, he lacked learning fundamental socialization skills as a pup which has manifested in anxiety or fear based on the situation. He’s come a long way since we’ve started working with Gabrielle! We are based in the Richmond area and would love to meet other dog parents to go on walks and to get Amos used to socializing with other humans.
Hi. My name is Mai-Chi. I have a 2 year old Australian cattle mix named Rio. He displayed fear aggression to everything when I (unexpectedly) got him. Gabrielle has been instrumental in our journey. We have been able to do barnhunt, nose work and group class->this all would not have been possible without Gabrielle. I am based in orange county in southern California if anyone wants to meet up.
Hey friends! My name is Meg (she, her) and I am Mom to Hero. We worked with Gabrielle a LONG time ago now, but we miss them! Lately Hero has experienced the loss of several of his best buds - Nevarre, Jack, and now Fagin - as well as Fagin's Mom - and he has been feeling really sensitive. I think he and I both would love some new friends!
Hello all! My name is Kaylynn (pronouns currently: she/her/Kaylynn), I am the human to Milo Jeanne - a 1 year old Border Collie / GSP pup. Milo (and I do has well) has big feelings about life. Mainly he has reactivity around dogs while leashed (more in the frustration realm but some fear/hesitation) and stranger danger. I’ve been working with Gabrielle for about 6 months now.
Absolutely looking for humans to connect with - as well as play dates, training buddies, walking pals, and all support is welcome and invited in our lives!
